2020 Rendezvous?????
Hello All! I know someone probably thought of this in the past, but who would be interested in planning a CYO rendezvous in February or March of 2020? We could pick a city, a date, and all show up at the designated time. It is a little more complicated than that, but it would be great to meet some of you in person to talk smart and lie! Big Fun!!!! Quick example: if we wanted to meet in Green Bay, WI, I would volunteer to negotiate a hotel rate in the area for our group, take care of transportation from airport to hotel for attendees, schedule a group tour of the Marquis/Carver plant and a Q/A meeting with their team. Even if we had just 10 people, it would still be fun as heck! One caveat, there is not a lot to do in Green Bay during those months, so other locations can be considered. Thoughts?

That GB suggestion was only that, an example/suggestion. I have no issue with Florida. I think our admin. team is down there also. Any suggestions?

Ft. Myers here. Open for the next several weeks. Anchor out, Say Cayo Costa, or pick a resort with transient docks. Pool.

To anchor out, I am currently restricted to the parking lot of our marina. On the plus side, I wouldn't have to worry about wakes or anchor drag!

Re: 2020 Rendezvous?????
OK! Looks like Sadey ( Dave & Trina ) have extended the invitation to Ft Lauderdale. I believe they have their most recent boat there, so our group event functions can be focused on assisting with any projects they want help with. For those of you who do not know, they recently purchased a 60' Hatteras, but they are Carver blood relatives. I'm sure they will have tools, supplies, and laughs available for those who choose to attend the first semi-annual CYO Fabulous Rendezvous Event. Now, we need to pick a date, and get commitment from attendees! Let's start with February, so we can avoid the spring breakers. How about arrival Feb 14, fun & frolic on the 15th, and then departure on your own schedule. ( or Dave & Trina can tell us how long they are willing to tolerate us ) Please respond with In or Out, or other date(s) if we need to accommodate.
