Carver 356 aft cabin mattress dimensions

Post by sremenap »

Hello!

I have recently purchased a 2000 356 Aft Cabin and I am looking to get the main stateroom mattress replaced. Has anyone here already done the work of the mattress dimensions and can post them/send them to me to order up a new one? I'd appreciate it greatly!

If not, I will do the dimension measurements and post them here for future reference.

Thanks!

Its not a size you can buy of the shelf. The aft end is a bit wider than full size and the foot end is smaller than full size.
We bought a latex queen mattress and cut it to fit.

We just put a mattress topper on ours. Made a big difference and a lot cheaper than buying a new mattress.
If you go the topper route, don't get more than an inch thick, otherwise you won't be able to open/close that hanging closet door. You can go thicker, but it would help to cut off just that one corner.
