What vaculush Vcuum oump do I have?
I have a 2004 Mariner 360. My Vacuflush vacuum pump needs a rebuild. The toilet is a 706 with a separate vacuum pump. It has a white cover guard held on by two screws. I can't find an exact image or a part number on the pump. Anybody have any ideas?

It is a Sealand either an S or T pump. If it runs, you most likely just need the duck bill valves. Both pumps use the same duckbills.

What exactly is your problem? For sure the duck bills need replacing as mentioned. Mine lasted 10 years before I started having issues and now will changed them every 8 as a preventative maintenance routine. 4 duckbills and a new bowl seal should do the job. I did change the bellows on one but think that was overkill. Do have a set of duckbills and bellows on board just in case.
Much better to do this when you have time as opposed emergency repair in the middle of vacation.- Midnightsun

By the way, bowl seal kit is available in the US via USPS here for a ridiculously low price. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000132 ... 0132846914

You may be able to just replace the accordian bellows at the top of the pump. Open the top, see if the bellows are wet or gunked up. That is a frequent fail for those pumps. Replace the duck bills at the same time.

Need to know what's happening first or not happening. Don't start throwing parts at it until you diagnose it properly as some components can be pricey.
- does the pump run?
- does the pump eventually shut off?
- how long does it run for before shutting off?
- does it cycle on it's own periodically?
- will water remain in the bowl if you don't flush?
- if the pump is working and shutting off after it builds a vacuum, do the contents of the bowl evacuate when you push the pedal?
- when were the duckbill valves last inspected/replaced?
- why are you rebuilding the pump?
etc....

the biggest problem with these is usually being able to get to them often buried in some space you can hardly get too.

Re: What vaculush Vcuum oump do I have?
Viper: I was getting ready to post a question about duckbills until I saw your list of questions. So here are my answers:
Yes, the pumps run. (2 heads).
Yes, pumps shut off.
Pumps run 30 to 40 seconds before shut off - could be a little less.
Hardly ever cycle on their own.
Yes, water will remain.
Yes, full evacuation.
Duckbills were replaced approximately 5 years ago.
Duckbills on Admiral's head are making a "weet weet weet" noise just before shutoff. So I figured it was time to replace. Then I figured might as well do both.
Question: Do you know where vacuum generator for forward head is located? Are generators located next to each other on starboard side of engine room near aft head holding tank? I have a waste & water schematic - if anybody wants one shoot me a PM with your email.
