source for engine anodes for 74 TAMD EDC

Post by Carpediem »

I am in brackish water and have aluminum anodes on the hull and gear, I am wondering if I should use aluminum pencil anodes in the engine as well and if so does any one sell a kit? Boat zincs dot com sells kits for Cummins but not Volvo as near as I can tell.
Thoughts would be appreciated

They do sell for Volvo however I have never seen aluminum or Magnesium, only zinc for Volvos. I am in fresh water so technically I should have Magnesium but they came with zinc from the factory. https://www.boatzincs.com/volvo_engine.html

Thanks, that is what my other research revealed as well so I ordered a couple of sets from Boatzincs.com today.
Cheers
