Carver 466 MY 2001 Portland Pudgy & Davits

We think we're going to order a Portland Pudgy dingy, 8 foot long & relatively light, 130lbs +/-
Any suggestions as to davits, or davit systems to look at?
Can we put a davit above the aft deck?
