davits for tender

Post by ontariojeff »

Hello all,

Can someone recommend a swim platform davit system for a 650lb zodiac projet 350?

my carver 570 has plenty of deck space as my dingy has currently been sitting centered on the platform.
the hurley h20 claims 350lb capacity, the hurley h30 around 450lb and the hurley h30 plus 725lb
at over $4,000 :-O

If that is my only option then "break out another thousand" is under rated.

suggestions or any used hurley h30 plus davits for sale?

also I have put some teak stick on decking on the aft flybridge and stairs, looking good :) I will post pics when its complete.
is that decking suitable for the swim platform that will have more wear and salt water splashback?

Thanks,

I would look at Presto marine lifts. Nothing in the water and they fold down when not in use so as not to be an eye sore on the platform like many of the systems. The run about 15 grand installed.
