97 carver 350 mariner - cover for bow bench seat

Post by Bayleereann »

I’m looking for a cover for my bow bench seat. It was missing when I bought the boat. I was wondering if any knew of a place that would have one factory made before I find someone to make one. Any help would be appreciated

You can have a canvass guy come and make a template and make a cover from canvass.

Welcome to the forum......you will be better off having it made, make sure to ask to have it made to slide into a water/rain deflector....the originals did not fit that well and water leaked behind onto the seat and behind the seat back, rotting all.....Good luck...
FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.

I had similar issue and did exactly as the others have prescribed. Had a local shop measure and build the canvas with snaps to provide the coverage. This will be worth the money as I had to have the entire seat rebuilt and recovered due to weather damage. Good luck. BTW, I have a 98 Carver Mariner 350, so hopefully we can assist each other with issues specific to our model of boat. Cheers!
