Outside window weather strip

Post by Johns55690 »

Has anyone found a suitable replacement weather strip for the stationary windows? I have a 97 405 aft cabin and the outside weather strips have shrunk over the years and I cant find anything that will fit. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Tim

I also have a 405 but haven't had the need to replace this. However heres a link to our carver forum that although isn't the same boat may provide some insight. You might also try the search feature on here for possibly more. I bet that Taylor made this also. ......there were several year models leading to the 405 that had the same windows

Here's taylormade website or give them a call....taylormadesystems.com

You might could try and match up the profile of the weather stripping with a local glass or online dealer.
Greatlakesskipper might could help also. Please post if you do find the correct rubber for future references
