Hi, I purchased a 1987 4207 in September and have noticed it has a slight lean to the aft starboard corner, maybe an inch or so. It’s most noticeable on the aft deck. There is another 4207 at our marina that has the same list in the same corner.
Does anyone know if this a common thing with the model, or something I should be concerned about?
Thanks!

Not unusual for a slight list. Depends on tank levels, where tanks are located, gear storage, etc. A friend of mine used to scratch his head all the time, but he was comparing water level against bottom paint line. Bottom paint line was not even.

Ya I wouldn't stress out over and inch. Could be the distribution of stored items, tank levels, hardware, accessories, etc. Sometimes a small list can be corrected even if some things like fluid levels are the same, like redistributing storage, and heavy items that might be easy to relocate like batteries or a hot water heater depending on the application.

Also could depends on what options the boat was equipped with, or not equipped with. My old boat had a slight list to starboard, but didn't come with any of the "normal" HVAC equipment. Both the salon and aft HVAC units would have been mounted on the port side, and would have leveled it out.
I just always kept about 20 gallons more fuel in the port tank to compensate.

My Marineer has a slight list to port, the other two carvers (newer) near me in the marina also list slightly but to starboard. Thinking it could just be a "Carver thing". But will be interested to see what others think.

Re: 4207 Listing to Starboard
On a 4207, there's not much on the aft port side. Unless you have a washer/ drier in the closet on that side.
The starboard side has the head.
But, the genny is midship port, hot water tank across from it on starboard side.
The starboard side also has an ice maker. Fridge, and wet bar, port only has some steps on the aft deck.
Are your fuel tanks equally full? Which tank is the genny pulling from?
