Batteries

Postby billyz99999 » May 26th, 2023, 1:01 pm

Hi my name is Billy. And I'm a boataholic. Just got a 1998 carver voyager 530 that was pretty neglected. Going to try and bring her back to her former glory. So I started changing batteries and what I thought was fairly easy however there is four marine batteries center forward and I got confused on what goes where. If anyone has a picture or diagram it would be greatly appreciated. I didn't get any books
Billy
There are 2 8ds rear center by generator
There are 2 8ds behind each motor tamd122b's I think
There are 4 regular marine batteries forward center in front of ac water pump that I was changing and got confused with what went where please help. Thanks
Should change my name to in over my head. Lol

Does all that wiring look OEM? There could have been a lot changed between when that boat rolled out of the factory and now.

Do you bow and/or stern thrusters? Do you have an inverter?
