89' Santego switch to raw water flush

Post by bobwhorn »

With the small water tanks, I think it is a shame to use fresh water to flush the head. There is an unused thru hull next to the shower sump. Has anyone used that thru hull for flush water?

Your boat may have used that thru hull for the raw water flush when new, someone probably changed it over to freshwater flush to eliminate smells and nasty dirty toilet bowls.
If the head was also changed, it may not have an onboard raw water pump, so you need to check that before considering changing.

I figured I would need to add a pump.

That’s where my raw water comes in to flush the head.
