Breaking news!

Post by Cooler »

Dear CYO buddies, I am sorry to report I am boatless, Cooler By The Lake went to her new owner yesterday. For the 6th time over the last 3 years, a buyer approached me at the slip and asked if I would be willing to sell. Offered me a very fair price, all cash offer. That was 4 days ago. He came back Tuesday with a cashier's check and one condition. We take a short cruise as sea trial. We did that yesterday and he handed me the check. Sure wish Carver made a Center Console, but they never got into that market. Not sure if I am happy or sad. 8-) er

Congrats on the sale, guess it was time to move on. We may be next, just talking about it for now.

Ya know, there is a time for everything, the wise ones recognize that....good luck, nice you didn't have to pay a broker...... :beergood:
FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.

Yep! I have been really fortunate with having buyers approach me over the last few seasons.

What do you guys think about Center Consoles? I may want to get one to just zip around with. Could handle it myself, just seems easier. A friend of mine, who I trust implicitly, tells me NOT to get one. Says I will be disappointed with actual use. There are not any in our marina, which seems strange to me. I really don't fish, just like to go to the beaches and other marinas. Really struggling with it, but there is a Donzi with twin 250's for sale. I always admire them when we are down south for the winter. 8-) er
