New to big boating; got our Montego 3257 (37' LOA) early June, 2014. Previous boat was a Chris Craft 21 Concept Cuddy (22' LOA), and before that was a 16.5' bow-rider.
I've taken to the twins pretty good and the wife puts it into the slip pretty darn good, too. Heck, she taught me boating, so I wasn't surprised. I've been on iBoats for quite some time, but haven't seen much action in the Carver section there, so I am hoping to gain some knowledge here.
I can turn a wrench, so I hope to save a little money on DIY things. I know where my (afraid I'm getting in over my head) limit is, but first I hope to understand what each project entails.
I've learned a good Google string to search specific sites, so I will look closely here before I ask questions on most things.
I am a member of GMTNation.com, a forum that is VERY active, and I've found many posts get a reply pretty quick here, too. Let me know if I should consider joining other forums as I learn the mechanics of this new-to-us Montego.
Thanks and we'll see you on the water!

Re: New guy from Chattanooga
This forum has been great as has another forum that has a fairly active Carver section. That forum is called boatered.
