1990 Montego 3257 - New Owner

Hello everyone,

My wife and I recently purchased our first boat in August, a 1990 Montego 3257. We just pulled it out of water for the winter, but did get to enjoy it for a couple months. This boat is such a great fit for us, with three kids it offers plenty of space for everyone. Other than the short list of typical maintenance and repairs the boat is in great shape.
Our home port is Washington Park Marina in Michigan City, Indiana. Unfortunately, Lake Michigan wind does not always cooperate for pleasurable boating, especially this year, but we still enjoyed spending the weekends at the marina just relaxing. Now it's time do the work and spend the money to get ready for next season.
Glad to be a member of this site and I'm sure I'll be needing some tips soon.

Welcome and congrats, again. We have identical boats, but we got in a lot of "Lake Time" (our boat name) from June through mid September.

We must keep in touch on here and learn from our little projects.
