carver 2157 help


Hello I.m Italian, excuse me for my terrible Emglish, I have a problem, I bought an carver 2157 with volvo penta 4.3 205 hp duo prop, the problem is little power, I must change the engine but I don't have idea the max power in the boat dts. Originaly is engined by mercruiser 4.3 or 5.7 260 or volvo 4.3 for change engine without change the drive the best think is put in a volvo 5.7 but have 270 hp ...is correct?
