Replacing Carpeting


I am thinking about replacing the carpet in my 2004 396 while it is on the hard in heated storage this winter. Last year I pulled the carpet up around the galley area when I put in hardwood flooring and found it was glued down and a bear to get up. Does anyone have experience doing this and is willing to share their knowledge and techniques that might make the job go easier? Thanks, Dan
