Post New to me Santa Cruz repower

Just joined y’all’s forum I’m glad to see someone else loves these old carvers. I have what I was told by the previous owner a 1977 26 foot carver Santa Cruz. It needs a good bit of TLC but it’s been getting it slowly but surely. Before I repaint the boat I want to drop a new motor in it it had a 351w and omc electric shift. I have gathered up all new parts as the engine was seized and the boat sat in a slip for awhile before the previous owner got it and the out drive was corroded beyond repai ...

Ours stop working and is not getting power
to it. Dock pedestal has electric, power cord has electric, but no electric inside the boat. We have checked all breaker that we know of.

Post Replacement Center Cabin Glass Panel

2007 Carver 560 Voyager:
I had an attempted break into the living room area of my boat resulting in the PORT SIDE CENTER PANEL of the tinted glass being shattered.
I can see the original manufacturer of glass was: TREND TEMPERED GLASS 05 [this panel measures 48" wide X 36" high] and does have a bottom to top arc.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated, even if it's a part number, source for this part, or possible cad type drawing of that panel would be a big help.

Post 8 Bells for a remarkable man

During the sale of Carver Yachts, many of you read about my affiliation and friendship with K C Stock, previous owner of Cruisers Yachts and short time owner of Carver/Marquis. A truely "good man", who always treated his colleagues with respect and generousity. I learned a lot about life and attitudes from KC, a man with the Midas Touch. I felt compelled to offer this link in homage to him. He touched many lives! Post Hull number deciphering, what info does this give?

Got the following message from Jim through a PM, I seem to remember that the hull number is built up of various segments that refer to certain location/year and perhaps model. The latter is what Jim is looking for as apparently there's a lot missing from the boat he obtained.

@jim: insert some pictures here, surely someone can tell you more about that particular model.

Post 1984 Carver Mariner 3697 rear Ac model number request

Hi,

I attached a photo of where the rear AC is located for reference. Mine was removed before the purchase, so just need the make and model number so I can acquire it. Any alternatives are also welcome. The FWD AC has a Cruisair stowaway v sh12/ 12000 beta. Icemaker brand and model number too if you're super bored :) Thanks in advance.

Post '89 Santego 38 Fiberglass panel under rear platform

My friends have an '89 Santego and the thin panel under the platform came off. It was one big piece and had a wooden strip on the transom that was used to screw that part in place and the wood rotted, allowing the front to scoop water- that ripped it off and when they reversed, it tore up the wires for the lights I had installed.

I'm looking for info about a better material to use for a replacement but if someone in the Milwaukee-Chicago (or, along the East cost of Wisconsin) area has one of the ...

Post Restoreing a Carver 2557 twin 3.7

Hello everyone new here. I'm a commercial service Tech for commercial cooking equipment. I picked up this Carver a year ago and it was supposed to be turnkey ready we all know how that goes. I've invested little over $25,000 in new parts and upgrades. I wish I documented what I've done to the Carver as I went along because it's really quite interesting. Here's my question I was upgrading some of the wiring inside the boat . I was installed a new grounding bar in the cabins 12 V electrical Box t ...
