Post Seawater Wash Fitting Location

New to Carver ownership so this may be a dumb question.
Where is the fitting located for seawater wash. Owner guide only says aft deck or cockpit. No graphic I can find indicating location.
Thanks!

Post Ignition - Push button Keypad - Lockout?

Hi. Thanks for reading this post.

I have a 2001 396 MY. I have Horizon gas engines. I have the push button coded starting mechanism as opposed to a key.

My port side engine is not starting, but my starboard side engine using the same Style keypad, which is run, then start - starts right up. To give it some background, the starboard engine will give a beep when you hit the run button, then you hit start and the engine turns over. The port engine on the other hand, does not beep at all. When ...

Post 454 Crusader stall

I have 454 XLi Crusader engines with Velvet V Drives. They start and run great. When returning to my dock I have a couple of 90 degree right turns and by reversing my starboard engine for the turn I've stalled out that engine a few times. Any suggestions for a fix?

My 2000 Carver 396 has this tilt up davit.

Image

When I purchased the boat last summer it had a 8' rib with an 8hp merc. It was in terrible shape so I found a 11' Rendova with with a 25hp Honda. I picked it up and I have been really happy with it. One issue.... I didn't even think about weight. It is exceptionally heavy. It is difficult to say exactly what it weighs because Rendova information is difficult to find but my estimation is about 700-750lbs wet ...

Post Battery Bank / Bilge Wiring

My next project is to re-wiring my bilge pumps, install battery trays and just perform a little house keeping on my battery bank. It would appear that it has been DIY'ed a few times. My question to the community, especially if its similar to mine; how does you're battery bank look? Wired? currently my system is 3-Deep Cycle batteries (27, 24, 4 group). I have solar as well, not sure where it goes, i.e. which battery is being charge. I can't trace back to what battery is being used as a starter/c ...

Post Water in fuel

I have been struggling with fuel issues since i bought my boat last year mainly due to water in the fuel.

One of the tanks is now in decent shape with only slight issues and the other still has some definite water.

Im, wondering if i should bite the bullet and have the tank totally pumped out, or if i should try adding a bunch of heet to the fuel to see if that will solve the problem. Does anyone here use heet in their fuel?

I have a single crusader 454.

Appreciate any advice!

Post Re-Naming Project

I bought the boat as New Beginnings, great name, fitting name too, but I wanted to name it something more near and dear to me. What better name than after man's best friend! My dog's name is Ghost. The Hampton NH was decals, so just scraped those off with a puddy knife and Goof Off. New Beginnings was a little more work since it was painted on. A combo of paint thinner, Goof Off and 60 & 220 grit sand paper did the trick (no damage to the gel coat). Followed by a coat of Maguires color resto ...

Post 320 Voyager a/c ducting

new to me Carver Voyager 320. The AC unit is located in the starboard side bench seat. However deducting that goes in the seat just goes from one side to the other and looks like it's factory installed that way everything's connected and clean with insulation around it. the AC unit itself has no ducting connected to it whatsoever. Does anyone with the Carver 320 have a similar setup that can send me a picture of how this is supposed to be? This doesn't seem right
