Post Fireboy manual cable

Hello all,

I was checking out the Fireboy fire suppression system on my 2003 356 and everything looks good, but I discovered that there is a cable attached to manually activate the system. The problem is that I cannot for the life of me find the control knob for that cable. I have looked everywhere. The cable routes from the extinguisher back to the aft port side of the engine compartment and then goes up somewhere. Anybody have any idea where the knob is located? It seems like it would be i ...

Kohler model 7.5, R27. Ran fine. Just shut down like it was turned off. Found blown cranking relay fuse. Replace fuse (3 times). Nothing. Now does not blow fuse, but nothing at either test position, or remote. Battery good. New solenoid.

Post Shower Faucet

I have a 2002 410 Sport Sedan. The faucet in the Master Shower is leaking from the base. I have taken the faucet apart from the top and replaced the O Rings on the valves but it hasn't fixed the leak. The water shoots out between the base of the faucet and the counter top. I can't take the faucet out because its completely sealed within the counter top and there is no access underneath it? I would literally have to remove the entire top which is sealed and glued to the base. Does any body ...

Post Streaming Netflix Tip

I busted our gig allotment for our LTE internet on the boat last month mainly due to Netflix with the grandson on board. Turns out you can change the parameters of the quality you want to receive which greatly reduces the amount of data used. I was at the best quality setting which can eat up to 7 gig/hour on full 4k. Lowered this down to the lowest setting which will only allow .3 gig/hour. On smaller TVs this is very acceptable video quality. Simply log into your account via computer or phone ...

I think that my 12-volt fresh water pump crapped out. Where on board would one typically find it installed on a 370 voyager?

Post Main breaker tripping

Hi, I just bought a Mariner 420 2004. The shore power cable is a 50amp 125v/250v cable. When I took possession of the boat it came with a 30amp 125v to 50amp 125.250v pigtail. With this cable everything on the boat is working fine. I can power shore 1 and shore 2 with it. Although we are tight on power when the 3 air conditioning systems are on and drawing power.

I bought a Reverse Y cable 2x30amp (shore side) to 1x50amp (boat side) - model marineco RY504-2-30. When I use this cable the main brea ...

Post Trent Severn

Probably heading up the Trent around mid August. Anything I should now regarding covid or low water conditions or anything out of the ordinary. It will be the just my wife and I and we both have had both shots over 14 days ago. I have already made this trip once before so I do know a little of what to expect although this time we will be taking our time doing the Trent. Probably a week up, 2 weeks++ on Georgian Bay and a week back.
