Anyone have info or an opinion on dripless shafts? My boat is a 1996 355 with 1 3/8 ' Shafts. thx. csdaman2

Hello, all. I own a 1994 Carver 350 Aft and am having trouble finding a replacement letter. Recently, the letter "C" has fallen off, so boat now says "_ARVER". I've called Carver, Great Lakes Skipper, and several salvage yards and they do not have them. Any help would be appreciated. I do not mind purchasing the whole word "CARVER" if I have to. Thank you.

I can't stop water from entering the aft deck through the bottom of the glass doors one port, one starboard leading to the side walkways
I have changed the trim at the bottom of the glass doors and every time it rains or the boat washing people spray water on them they leak
This is killing me help please

I am looking at buying a 406 and understand is has some serious blister issues.
Is this an inherent problem with this model?
Or there other Carvers with similar issues?
How much of a repair is this problem?

We will be docked outside of Neyland Stadium over the coming weekend for Vol Navy. Having never done this before, what is the standard time most of you will let your boat sit without running the generator? We will not be on the boat for the entire 5 days. We will be there from Wednesday to Sunday. We have a 2005 Carver 56 Voyager.

I have a 93 300 aft cabin and for the life of me I an so puzzled on where to find the spare battery location! I want to switch them out and also get them set up for solar panels but they are hiding. The manual doesn't even discuss where they may be. On my switchboard there are two spare battery switches but they are hiding. Any help locating in the vessel would be helpful!

I am still learning the idiosyncrasies of my 3007 Aft Cabin Carver. In many ways boats are like people. Each one has its own personality.



My last boat also a 30 footer was a 1999 Bayliner 3055 Ciera. Over the 12 years I owned that boat I came to know everything about how it handles, how much fuel it used. I learned how to maximize fuel economy. I even got to the point by looking at the fuel gauge just how much fuel it would take to fill the tank.

I am new to the board. I have a 1996 430 Carver cockpit with Cummins Diamond series diesels in it. The boat has 3 fuel tanks. Port Starboard and Auxillary. In the aft closet there are 4 handles for transferring fuel. Currently they are all turn to the starboard side of the boat. The only other way to turn them is pointing up. Can anyone tell what these handles do in when turn in either direction?
