Well new here first post, here goes. Went up with to check on my boat today , (frst boat) and looks as though all my batteries are dead. Didn't have a lot of time to inspect weather they had froze and swelled although I'm assuming they have. The boat is a 1989 3207 aft cabin. It has twin 350 mercs looks like 2 start batteries and 4 220 Ah 6 volt house batteries. I left the selector off in the fall but obviously something has drained them. I'm looking to find out how these systems are supposed ...

I have done the search and thanks to Lyndon for the info, I just want to do the bulbs this year.Does anyone have some experience ( part number ,manufacturer) for the inside ceiling lights......We have 12 or fourteen bulbs to change from halogen to g4 2 pin edge type mount and 3 or 4 centre mount.....there are so many choices I just don't know what to order.Going to measure lights this week to check.

Do the leds care what voltage they see....is the 12volt dc and 12v ac the same bulb......Thanks ...

This past weekend I took the family out into the bay and the stbd engine wouldnt go over 2500 RPM when I had the port at 3000. I backed the port down to 2500 and the stbd would follow it down regardless of throttle. When I throttle up the stbd it would drop 200 rpm.



No smoke or strange noises. Temps and oil pressure were normal.



I have a set of fuel filters I need to put on. And im planning on sending off the injectors for cleaning.



Any ideas?

Hello all. My 1989 santego 3467 has a banged up betond repair aluminum frame for the screen. Does anyone know the manufacturer or someone that might be able to steer my in the right direction. My guess is that it is a straight piece that gets cut on angle to fit the slotted window section. The screen frame slides on the main frame. Thanks very much, guy

I have twin 1997 5.7 EFI Crusader engines with Velvet transmissions. Engines have enclosed cooling. There are 525 hours on them. Maintenance records are sketchy. Records at previous marina show storage and annual maintenance performed. No other details. Based on this unknown I am looking for advice on what to check/perform. Need help identifying which caulking to use on boat. I am hoping someone can give guidelines on when to use the different 3M products. Per 3M 5200 is for permanent bonding. ie bonding hull components together. To me that would be factory use. Anything I would be bonding would have to be disassembled and 4200 would be used. Do I have this right? I have been told 5200 can pull gelcoat from fiberglass base before releasing. Dan

I have a 3297 carver mariner I have a port side front hatch that has a crack in the window HELP where can I get a new window?..... can I take the window apart???........do I need to to replace the entire hatch?..... notopfun@yahoo.com
