removing cabinet above sink - 1977 Mariner 33ft

I'm new here and did a search but can't seem to find an answer. We have a 33ft 1977 Mariner we are slowly refurbishing (leaky windows of course). Is the cabinet with the metal support under it that is above the sink a structural support at all? We want to remove it permanently but I am concerned it may be providing structural support to the upper fly bridge. Anyone know? TYIA! Melissa and Scott

Wildfire - check this link. Hopefully it opens for you, but if not let me know & I'll try a different one. In the CABIN INTERIOR description, the brochure discloses "ornamental wrought iron column" . I would take that as non-load bearing. My Mariner is a 95, and there is no post or brace there. Good luck! er
