Oil pressure gauge malfunction?
I was returning home from a weekend trip yesterday, when all of a sudden alarms started going off, so I throttled down to find out what was going on. I saw that both oil pressure gauges showed almost no oil pressure, so I shut down the engines. After checking the oil levels, which were good, and visually inspecting the engines, I decided to start them and see if the issue would continue. I fired them up and the oil pressure gauges read normal. I got up to cruising speed and had a pleasant cruise home. I'm thinking that there was a malfunction of the controller for the gauges, or some kind of short. Any have any ideas or have had a similar issue?
Thanks,
Chuck
