DrCaryn - Keep an eye on this topic. If we get confirmation from Sadey, final confirm on date, and a minimum commitment of 5 people, then we should plan it for sure. I for one would be there, so would Sadey, so we only really need 3 others to lock it in. It would be really cool if Viper, Hans, Rick, Bud37 and any of the other regulars would be able to get there! Over the next few years, this could grow into the social event of the year for some of us. Woo-Hoo!

Admiral: Honey, I am really stuck for an idea for a "special" Xmas gift to you. Any ideas you could help me with?
Captain: Well, I really don't want anything. BUT! If you insist, a ticket to Ft Lauderdale, FL for around Feb. 14th would be pretty darn cool. I/we could attend the inaugural Semi-annual CYO Fabulous Rendezvous Event. Cooler is even going to bring some fabulous prizes. We might win a chance to win millions of dollars! ( Read that last sentence really carefully ) AND, we could see and maybe even help with a project on Sadey's Hatteras - The Benedetto!

Dang sounds like it going to be a great event! Unfortunately the timing isn’t right for myself and the admiral with two jobs and a recent new granddaughter to go see. You guys post lots and lots of photos, so the rest of us can see what we missed!

Granddaughter definitely takes priority. I have a 5 mo GD. If the event takes off, we will follow thru with your request. Still waiting for Sadey ( Dave & Trina ) to confirm this will work for them. We also need a few commitments to come through. er

If something is put together for the Green Bay area I would definitely consider being in attendance. Obviously the choice of dates would have bearing on my potential attendance. As the current Vice Commodore of my boat club several weekends are already taken.
