First being new benzles for the windows. Shaped the polyiso for a positive mold. Priming sand and such then I will make a negative mold. The neg mold will be just oversized to allow for the fiberglass layup. If it test fits I will mold a copy and looking to have it vacuum metalized in a brushed stainles
Hello, I own a 86 Carver 3207 as well and am in the process of remodeling it. I really like the new instrument panel you installed on the flybridge of yours. If you don't mind, I'm very interested in how you made the components to make it look like it just came off the show room. Thanks, I'm looking for a project to start the Spring with to get ready for the season.

The carbon fiber I purchased a pre made sheet and used the existing panels as templates. The lables are from blue sea systems.
What a odd looking hole. In person it looks like a egg tilled!
So the check it I set up the tunnel
Took a picture down the tunnel. Happy to see the outline conform to the shape (red line)
Inside it looks like I will need to till the motor forward to decrease it height. I can notce the floor at the dotted lines. This will also be a good spot to support the motor
I was going to mount everything in the truster compartment that I will be in closing by making a fiberglass top. In rethinking I have a nice compartment that can hold the battery, fuses shutoff and such. This will be better in that acess is great and it's adjactent to the thruster
Used a laser on the square with level to check everything out
The tunnel optom depth is 185mm or 7-1/4". At the middle of my scum line it's right on. You cannot be under 5" or your performance will suffer
So this is how it checked out. Bottom of tunnel lenght is 9-1/4". I need at least 8" or risk the propeller blades sticking out. So i am good there. When done it will be a little more because I will add a eye brow to direct the water away from the tunnel. (Explain later) thruster ends up right on center were I cut the acess hole and will fit within the area with a cap. When done you will never know its there.
So it's time once the weather break to DRILL!!!!!!
