Is the possibility of Carver closing up shop or being sold the big news that we were all anxiously waiting for.

So the big news is Cruiser Yachts purchased Carver. Hmmm, could be beneficial to both, time will tell.

Still doesn't explain what's happening with Carver and Marquis brands/boats. Are they still going to keep them and continue building them, or are they no more?

Wonder what would come of the warranties currently in force on recent very expensive boats ?.......
FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.

New owners do not have to honor the warranties on products sold under previous owners. If they plan to keep the Carver / Marquis name, they would most likely honor the warranties. If they want to keep the names and not honor the warranties, they may not produce boats under those names for a few years, and then resurrect the names. Many manufactures have done this, including Carver with the Trojan name.

But where does it say that Carver/Marquis was sold? I suspect that's the case but it only mentions the facility, not the brand.

In this letter posted on another thread, it does mention selling of the company however the only signed purchase agreement was only for the facility/property, not for the company. Not very clear as to what happens with "Carver/Marquis"
