Kitchen Faucet Replacement
Original faucets from my 1994 390CPMY needed replacement. Easier to remove the cabinet doors, use the hatch from under the dinette (saved my back!) and removed old faucets. OF course, hole was 1/8” too small, so had to go easy and cut it larger. OF course again, the fittings needed adaptors, Nothing at Home Depot, Lowes had a pair after an hour looking. Nice neat installation if I say so myself!

That's interesting Tony, I never saw that combination before; Flair-it fittings used on Qest tubing.

Something I used to use as well. Worked quite well and was available at the large surface hardware stores. Did a quick search and see they now make fittings specifically for boats/campers, interesting. https://www.flairit.com/

Re: Kitchen Faucet Replacement
My concern would be reducing flow. Qest fittings are fully ported as the fitting is secured to the outside of the tubing. Flair-it fittings insert into the tubing which reduces the inside diameter. This makes a difference in long runs and flow through multiple fixtures operating at the same time.

Not sure if those are good on Quest. It looks like the only item they sell is for 1/2" when most of our boats are on 15mm. Agree with Viper, reduced flow when inserted internally. I did say I used to use for a reason, I now stick with AquaLoc formerly SeaTech.

Well Tony ,looks like you found a useable solution, that looks like it will work just fine......there is always some engineering involved isn't there.....

FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.
