SIDESHIFTER getting closer to reality
Today I found a space under the forward berth to hold the two batteries for the Sideshifter. Only a 4’ cable run. I am going to use one of the storage drawers below the berth to house the solenoid, switch, etc. I have used a piece of AZEK mounted to the inside of teh draw unit, and have it sitting on teh chine. I also took a piece of AZEK and cut it at a 30 degree angle. I am going to 5200 it to the interior of the hull for safe keeping. Also, got the control mounted on the helm as well. Pretty tough to get it in there as real estate was at a premium. However, one step closer. ALso, organized and too a lot of stuff off. Move. in next weekend.

yes Bud, just had to look at it for awhile, and save the beer for later on! I am going to put the charger in the hanging locker to port that i just put a shelf it. Possibly all the sideshift solonoid and switches and gear. That way I have easy access and can look at it when I need to. It is a better idea than putting into a drawer under the front berth.

My experience, the two things that are handy to get at and see easily are the switch that has the volts readout led and the replaceable fuse.....really all that control equipment doesn't take up much room.....good luck....
FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.
