A couple of questions

Does anyone know what the three holes are used for at the back edge of the swim deck (circled in red) ?
(Hopefully the picture is attached).

Also, how or does the shade/screen unlatch from the forward hatch? Mine will not unlatch. The surveyor noted this as a safety concern in case of an emergency egress. (Hopefully a picture is attached for this too).

Not sure why 2 pics will not upload.
I'm selecting "add files" and then select the 2 pics I'm trying to upload but I get a yellow triangle symbol each time

Maybe pics do not meet upload requirements (e.g. file size too large, format not supported, etc.) and that's what the yellow triangle is indicating?

The shade and screen should separate from each other. Usually it's a magnetic strip along the screen's end and a magnetic strip on the shade's end where the shade and screen meet but different brands might use a different means to latch one to the other when one is moved. You should be able to pull them apart.

The three holes in the platform are scuppers. They could be drains for the lockers in the transom, and if there is a hatch in the platform, that might drain out there as well. The rubber flaps act as check valves that allow water to drain out from a space while preventing water from getting in.

The scuppers makes perfect sense to me now. I was thinking they were places to possibly install a David of sorts.

As far as the screen/shade, I cannot get them to separate. Even the surveyor tried to no avail. I will try to see if there's a part number, brand name, or some other identifier to research how to get them to separate.
