Are you going to Queens Cove perhaps.... Booking up there could be a year out though so be forewarned.......good luck on your trip.

Yes, I am going to Queens Cove…I had no idea they were backed up. I haven’t even inquired about it yet. I will give Georgian Canvas a call. I had a boat in penetang for years so I do know the area pretty good. Maybe I can remove the old stuff as a template and have somewhere off site do it over the winter? I am putting it on a truck this time. Unfortunately I don’t have the time right now to move it by water, not to mention I’m sure it would cost me quadruple the fuel cost. $2.30 litre in port Dover

Our marina also has this policy, however, I believe it is only for "hull & mechanical". I purchased a walking foot sewing machine and hope to get our canvas done next season.

Merkinbrumsky wrote:Source of the post I believe it is any third party labour on marina property. I guess I could take it somewhere else and tie it up to have it measured?
Anything is possible but first see who works for Queens Cove.....the issue is the marinas have an overcharge which pushes the final cost of the job up......if you could arrange the remote it would be great so long as it is a good shop.....
To get a good looking , well fitting job the canvas needs to be fitted even after the template is made and partially sewn and the final finish goes after more fittings from there. Good luck on your move back to the BAY....

Re: Replacement Canvas approx cost Canada
He quoted me $13,000-$14,000 I guess that’s what I was expecting anyhow.
