Having trouble finding out if my engine is a 2 bolt or 4 bolt main, and was wondering if someone with a similar vessel could help with that.
Also, I'm fairly certain she needs a new oil pan and am not sure if I should get a standard or an aluminum model. She seems to be sucking bilge water (leak fixed) into the oil and leaking oil into the bilge. I was told it was a freeze plug but that didn't make sense to me.
Can I spin the engine around without removing the drive shaft? Or is it just much work to do it either way? Anything else I should do while I'm down there?
Any and all help and advice is greatly appreciated.

Looks like she's a sterndrive application. The boat has to come out of the water, drive has to be removed, then you can remove the engine to get to the pan.
