Postby Boatmiester » Wed Sep 11, 2013 2:16 pm -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The cooling fins on the AC in the main salon began to disintegrate and "spray" tiny pieces of aluminum all over the main cabin. The unit was replaced by a new Marine Air unit 2 seasons ago and the new unit is now doing the same thing. There is no evidence of sea water intrusion into the space - it is dry except for the normal water present in the collection pan for the condensation run off. Any one else have this problem? I don't wan to replace the unit again without knowing what is going on here. User avatar
