Volvo Diesel Injector Servicing


I figure it is about time (1200 hrs) to have my injectors serviced and want to get any info I can from anyone who has done this before. Apparently they are rather easy to remove. I will do so for both engine when I lay up in fall. I was told I should number them so they go back in the same spot. Any advice or tips for removal or anything for that matter would be appreciated.

I do know of a good place that does this work specifically on Volvo Penta diesels so that part is under control. Was told to expect around $1500 to $2000 CDN for all 12 units depending if things need replacing or not. Make sense?
