Hello, Carver Captains... Have been on a fruitless online search adventure for sometime now, trying to track down a replacement s/s exhaust tip for my Carver 440. It's a bolt-on-type stainless exhaust tip, fitting into the 6-inch opening on my port-side exhaust. It angles to outboard @ 45 degrees and flares to almost and 8-inch opening, ejecting my fumes and H2O 90 degrees to the hull. I have pointed, clicked, typed and swiped until the sea cows have come home and cannot seem to find anything in the online world. I get a lot of hits with automotive-related exhaust and gas-powered marine sites, but haven't even come close to finding what I need. Surely somebody out there has had their tip fall off...or knows "a friend" who had that happen. Where did you find a replacement? Would appreciate any clues on where to look. Thanks, folks.
