Post Trying to identify this model

Howdy! As the title says, I've been looking all over the internet and I'll be darned if I can come up with anything that identifies this particular model Carver. It's a 1977 with flybridge. The telltales that I've been trying to find on other boats in doing my research are the rectangular portholes as shown in the picture. There are two on the starboard side and one on the port side. Can anyone help me identify this model?

Post Raritan Head water pickup???

Hello all,

I have just bought a 1994 380. freshwater. twin 454 Crusaders.

I was confused when I took the boat out for storage there was no thru hull PU. for the Head.

The manual I received clearly shows one under the head area.

Does this mean it is connected to my fresh water system?

If this is the case I might not have winterized that line correctly.

fingers crossed.

Also,

I didn't do anything to the built in spacemaker coffee maker. Does that self drain if its been dry for month?

Happy Holi ...

Post Best product for hull refurbishing??

The boat is on the hard and wrapped for the winter but I am planning projects for the spring.

Can someone recommend the best product for getting rid of the oxidation on the hull of my 2000 396 Aft Cabin. Someone recommended Wizard Turbo Cut Compound & Polish Machine Glaze and another has suggested Meguiar’s M9132 Marine/RV Power Cut Compound and yet a third product is 3M Perfect-It Gelcoat Heavy Cutting Compound.

Which is best or is there another product which someone has used?

Thanks for th ...

Post Leak!

So, I just splashed again after a yard period and found that the guy who replaced my black water hoses evidently busted something else in the process and now I've got a (small) leak. It's right over the forward bilge pump, thankfully, but I'm not sure where/what it's from, whether the freshwater system or from outside the boat. It's the smaller diameter hose running across in the attached picture, I'm facing forward and on the port side is the third cabin, starboard is the 2nd head. Does anyo ...

Post Inverter and transfer switch

Thinking of installing an inverter with a transfer switch. now I have twin 30A shore power, a genset ans solar connected to the house bank, where the inverter will be. I saw the GO Power TS30, which has 2 separate sources of input power. How would this work with the twin 30A cords? Is this an install for a pro?

Post Kohler 21KW genset heat exchanger Anodes

In doing my annual service/inspections I noticed a couple of things that gave me pause. I have no Anodes on the fresh water heat exchanger on the engine for the gen set and there is no green wire bonding to the boat's anode system like the main engines have. Does anyone know why this is not the case? On my Sea Ray 44DB with an Onan genset there was an anode in the fresh water exchanger. I don't recall whether the genset chassis was bonded
or not.
