Post 350 Mariner bow seat repair

We just purchased a 1999 350 Mariner. Admiral really liked the bow seat. It was in need of repair hoping it would be winter project but it has already collapsed. Plywood core rotting out is main problem: piano hinge was holding back edge and two metal legs in front were held by screws into that rotting plywood.

Here's the question: can a new seat be ordered? If so from where and how does it attach to the boat? The piano hinge seems weak option and why is seat hinged anyway??

Or do I have t ...

Post Corrosion Bonding Wires

I have a bit more corrosion on my starboard side than my port side, inspection I found a few bonding wires that didn't seem to have homes. does anyone have any suggestions on where this wire may have gone.? I don't believe that it's been modified much from the factory so it must have connected to something nearby. I'm referring to the loose wire down by the packing tube.

Post Zantrax Link 1000 monitor replacement for Freedom 25 inverter

My Link 1000 monitor for the Freedom 25, 2500 watt inverter/charger has decided to fail. The unit still seems to control the Freedom 25 but the LED display is dim and flickers. Apparently the Link 1000 is out of production. I have not been able to discern which remotes currently in production will be compatible with the Freedom 25 inverter. Has anyone dealt with either replacing or upgrading their monitors that can shed some light. I have yet to reach out to Zantrax because what reading I have ...

Post Best DIY way to drain gas tank?

We finally figured out why my port engine won’t run. I’ve got spark and the carburetor is getting gas, but we can’t keep it going without starter fluid. Upon collecting some of that fuel in a jar, we learned that I’ve got water in the gas tank (from storage for too long without stabilizer in the tank… lesson learned!). There’s probably only 10-15 gallons in the tank now (not sure because gauges don’t work).

Some say just add a bottle of Heet and about 15 gallons of gas and I’ll be good to go. Oth ...

Post Repair Sliding Glass Door

I would like to replace the rollers or trucks that the sliding glass door rides on to the saloon in my 360 SS. How do I remove them or the door to access them? This would also allow access to the sliding screen door for repair.

Post Waste tank sensor

Good day to everyone!!!! Just looking for tips . The infamous waste tank tank sensor, the one with 3 floating levels, goes out of sorts once and a while. I remove the tank sensor, clean, looks good, reinstall. That would be good for a while then, here we go again and have to clean again. Oh yea, the SMELL!!!!! Gotta love it. Anyway, the sensor is good but cleaning all the time? Gezzzzz. Any solutions to this. We never put toilet paper down there if you need to know. I checked for solid sediment ...

Does anyone have any reference as to what they are and where to find them? unsure if they are bad, but want to be prepared.
