Hello, I am considering buying a used 1988 Carver Montego 2757 for my family of four, and am going to look at it tomorrow. So, before I become part of the Carver family, I was wondering if anyone had some advice and/or tips for me? Are there any common potential issues I should look for on this boat? Anything in particular that I should examine closely? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi all - looking for a place to start with this one. We have a 1982 3396 Carver Mariner with twin 350 crusader engines. As we were coming back from a day trip all of a sudden the engine sync gauge would drift to the port side ( about 3/4 of the way ) then after a second or 2 it would come back to center. You could hear a difference in the engines so it shouldn't be just a gauge issue. This would happen every 10 or 15 minutes - The Tach's did not show a difference in RPM in either engine but g ...

We recently checked out one of these and have a couple questions.



The large hatch cover in the galley floor right by the wall to the head....this one had a plywood piece under the hatch cover, What is that for, is that in all ??



The air conditioning had only one controller that I could find, I am assuming from this that it is only one heat/air unit...yes??
