Hello, I am looking at the Carver 444, 2001. I would really appreciate some input on a couple of things before I make an offer. Is a bow thruster an essential item to have on the 444? How low an rpm can I cruise at for long periods without adverse effects on engines? I would be content to operate at trawler speeds most times Thanks in advance for any input you might have!

Both rpm guages on my 1989 34' Santego fluxuate all over the place. Do I need to replace the guages or could there be another problem?

Hi all, One of my first posts...Have a project in my future and was wondering if anyone has had to redo the aft seat back on the 380 Santego? The wood is breaking down in ours and has a substantial bow in it. I am contemplating redoing it myself and reusing the vinyl by just redoing the wood structure and re-wrapping it however I do not want to bite off more than I can chew.

We have a 1992 350 Aft Cabin and need to replace the lower window track on the sliding windows in the salon and aft cabin. It looks like they were originally supplied by Taylor Made. As always, if you're in Manteo NC, stop for a cocktail! Thanks, Rich, Diana & Sammi (the dog)

1990 Carver 42 with oval 42 emblems on both sides. I've already removed the Carver 42 emblems from both sides, they were attached with some sort of fixative (?) and popped off. The oval 42s are another matter. They seem the be attached thru-hull some way?? Any one have any experience removing them? Really hate to pull down wall carpet before I know what I'm doing...
