I own a 1985 Carver 3207 with a broken front starboard salon slider window and would appreciate advice as to how best to repair/replace it.

1989 Mercruiser 3.7L Thermostat question? My twin engine Carver runs about 120 130 degrees. Boat ran great all summer, I believe the previous owner (I just bought at beginning of year) has removed the thermostats. Should I replace them with original 160 degree ones or leave as is?

Hello to all, I am in the process of purchasing a 2005 41CMY with surveys scheduled for 9/16/14. My wife and I are both retired and currently live in North Carolina in a small town north of Charlotte. We plan to move the boat to Sanford, Florida and spend winters cruising the ICW. Have a 1992 with twin Mercruiser MIE 7.4i. Just purchased and had engines gone over - carbs rebuilt, new fuel filters,new distributor components, plugs, wires. 9 Run fine and will go to over 5000 rpm in neutral but only reach 3200 in gear. I think they should get to 4400. Any ideas? Wrong props? Issue with v-drives? What else can I do to diagnose?

We have a 1987 Carver 4227, twin 454 with 2:91:1 gear reduction. It currently has 24 X 22 props and I'm wondering if these are fresh or salt water application, boat resides at Lake Superior. Cruises nice at 10/12 Knots and I'm getting 26 at WOT, does this sound about right for this boat??

Hello Everyone, My wife and I now the proud owners of a 1987 Carver 4227...not the aft cabin. I just found out that they only produced this boat for 2 years, seems a little odd its appears to be nice layout. Anyway we are looking forward to meeting other owners and look forward to any advice you have to offer.
