Volvo Engine ID


I am new with Carvers and still learning many things. The Volvo Diesels on board are TAMD74P. Just a basic question... what is the difference between a TAMD74L or TAMD74/C? Looks like size and shape and maintenance requirements are the same but I guess I'm just bothered that I don't know the difference. Is it worth knowing the difference? Thanks again. Jerry Nicholas
