Post Carver mechanic needed lake Ozarks

Have an 87 Carver Riviera on Lake Ozarks since it was new. Lake Shore Marina has done all wrenching on this boat but they are about 2 years behind in service calls. Does anyone know any other Marina/mechanics certified to work on twin engine Carvers (Chrysler 318 's) at Lake of the Ozarks??

Post Updated Solar Array

Installed a new solar array this morning. :-D old one consisted of 2, 150w panels which did work well however last end of season I had some weird readings on the SOC meter showing negative input which made no sense at all. Found out one of those panels went bad. Had no choice but to get new ones but this time around I decided to go with 3, 175w units. Have not plugged anything in yet as I am waiting for the Sikaflex 291 under the standoffs to dry so not until tomorrow morning before making th ...

Post New (to me) Carver owner

Hi everyone. I've been a boater for most of my life, and it's something my wife and I truly love to do together. We are taking ownership of a 1994 Aft Cabin on July 22nd. We're very excited, and will likely have a lot of questions. Seems like the forum is great, and have already been searching topics. Looking forward to learning a lot!

Filled potable water tank for first time this season after spring launch and the water is ending up in the fore and aft bilge. Is there a valve that I am neglecting that may have been opened or closed during last winterization? 1986 3607

Post 2000 396MY icemaker removal

Icemaker stopped making Ice it is a Raritan and working with tech support I now need to remove icemaker from cabinet to continue service diagnostics. I cannot figure out how to remove the unit. It looks like screwed to ss frame. I think they built the boat around the icemaker.

When opening the small round access port forward of the unit I see screws but cannot get to them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The port engine has developed a 5-7 second delay in the detent position going in fwd or reverse, past the detent response is immediate pulled the screen on the from the aft end all was clean, oil only has 50 hours on it and maintained proper level since changing. Anyone have any ideas. This is a 2001 Carver 466. Thanks for any ideas!

Post 2005 Marner Stern Access Doors

Hello Folks,

Last week I was in a hurry to get to a bridge opening and unfortunately left the dock whist still plugged in. I broke the starboard access door to the power hookup. UGH!
The door is made out of Carver 'white' lucite. (we know it's an off-white)
I visited two businesses today and one can manufacture a unit in standard white. The second offered the same service with an additional option of a 'seafoam starboard', which leaned beige. The latter material does not have a 'shiny' surface an ...

Post macerator power

Hello, all.
I'm having an issue with power to my aft cabin head macerator and waste tank level display. I'm thinking they are both on the same circuit, as they both cut out at the same time. Additional to the breaker in the power control box, is there anywhere else to check? I don't recall Carver using fuses, after the breakers.

Thanks.
